History of the Department (optional point)
The department of thermophysics of energy-efficient heat technologies was created in IETP of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine on October 30 in 1995 for the purpose of concentrate of efforts and scientific capabilities in resolving of industrial and municipal engineering problems associated with increasing the energy efficiency of technologies and equipment.
At the present, the total number of department is 34 employees. 7 of them are leading researchers, 10 – are senior researchers, 4 – scientific associates, 11 –scientific assistants.
Within the department operates one member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
2 staff members have the degree of Doctor of Science and 16 scientific associates of the department have PhD degrees.
Also 2 graduate students work in the department.
