The history of the department

On December 29, 2001, the Department of Thermophysical Basics of Energy-Saving Technologies (TBET) was created to develop the topics of the Institute in the field of research on heat and mass exchange in streams of heterogeneous environments, to create, refine and modernize energy-saving technologies and high-performance equipment for their industrial implementation. Corresponding Member of NAS of Ukraine, professor, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Deputy Director of the Institute for Scientific Work (from 1993 to 2016) Boris I. Basok is the Head of the department since the day it was founded.
